❖ ABOUT THE TEACHERS:

Alex, originally from Bucharest, Romania, has over 30 years of dance experience and over 10 years of teaching experience. He started dancing ballroom & other Latin dances in 1993 and has achieved numerous awards in his career as a competition dancer and as a teacher. His biggest achievement is winning the European and World Champion title in Rueda de Casino in 2007 and 2008.

Ioanna is qualified in international Latin and ballroom dances by authorized professional dance academies in Greece. She has attended ballet and contemporary dance classes for 9 years and has experience as a dance instructor of Latin and ballroom classes both in Greece and in Belgium.

*Outside shoes are not allowed on the dance floor at Shoonya Dance Centre.
