  • What can you expect from this class?

    If you're an enthusiast of African dance and eager to explore different styles, you can look forward to a vibrant and engaging experience in these dance classes. The sessions blend traditional and contemporary Afro and Congolese dance styles, including the dynamic Congolese Rumba (a partner dance).

    Expect an immersive experience with intense dancing, Congolese rhythms, and occasional live percussion accompaniment. The classes are designed for both beginners and intermediate-level dancers, providing an opportunity to dive into the rich cultural tapestry of African dance and percussion.

Joseph Simako Said is a talented dancer and choreographer from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He began his dance journey at the age of 11, performing with various groups in his home country.

After moving to Europe, Joseph expanded his career by collaborating with prominent groups such as Staff de Leader, Vibrations Schengen, Groupe Kabola, and Groupe Furaya. His dynamic performances have graced numerous prestigious festivals, showcasing his artistry and dedication to dance.
