GARBA WORKSHOP WITH SWAPNIL

Before the Garba & Dandiya night on 12 October 2024, we offer a Garba Workshop with Swapnil from 15:00 to 16:30.

Learn the basics of Garba and Dandiya, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the joyous celebration during the Garba + Dandiya Night. This workshop will provide the perfect introduction to the enchanting folk dance, with short sequences that you can dance during the event.

GUEST PERFORMANCES

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of dance and entertainment on Saturday, October 12th, as part of the Garba & Dandiya Night! We are thrilled to present captivating performances by talented guest artists, along with the incredible team from "ABC a bollywood company." Prepare to be mesmerized by their skillful moves, vibrant costumes, and infectious energy, as they bring the essence of Bollywood. Indian Folk Dance and Garba to the dance floor.

The entry fee to the Garba & Dandiya night on Saturday includes access to the guest performances.

Registration, Attire, and Entry Guidelines

  • Register in advance to secure your spot as registrations will close upon reaching maximum capacity.

  • Your spot is confirmed only after completing registration and payment.

  • There is no strict dress code for the event. Feel free to wear a kurta pyjama, a long skirt, or any attire that adds color to our event.

  • We have around 20 pairs of Dandiya available for registered participants. If you have your own, please bring them. A deposit of 5 euros (cash only) is required for borrowed pairs, which will be refunded upon their return.

  • For the comfort and safety of everyone, please refrain from wearing outside shoes on the dance floors at Shoonya Dance Centre. We will be dancing barefoot, although you can choose to wear socks if you prefer.

  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted at Shoonya Dance Centre.

  • All registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Entry fee does not include food and drinks, which must be purchased separately.
